Look Bikes

French brand Look introduced the first clipless pedal and the first carbon frame into the peloton

When Bernard Hinault won the 1984 Tour de France on the first LOOK clipless pedal system it saw a change in cycling technology. Not one to stand still LOOK then followed this up 2 years later with Greg Lemond winning the 1986 Tour on the first carbon bike in the peloton. Soon after the first track carbon monobloc frame was born.

LOOK is the road clipless pedal worldwide leader. Its approach to field research and development earned it the INPI Trophy for the most innovative small to medium sized business in France in 2009. LOOK has also won the Bike of the Year award in France 4 times, the Design Star award several times, and the 2010 German IF Design award. LOOK has unequaled experience and know-how in carbon design and manufacturing.

An independent company, LOOK’s head office in Nevers, France is where all the product design, development and production takes place. Even today amongst all the new  competition LOOK is still one of the most innovative companies on the market.
