Wilier Progress Performance Lab - Tuesday 9th August 2016

Wilier Progress Performance Lab Testing Day

Tuesday 9th August 2016

WILIER PROGRESS PERFORMANCE LAB ARE COMING TO PILOT HOUSE CYCLES TO PERFORM LACTATE THRESHOLD TESTING ON THEIR WATT BIKE SETUP ON THE 9TH AUGUST FROM 10AM

For those of you not familiar with this test it involves cycling on a static Watt bike, with a small (finger prick) sample of blood being taken every couple of minutes. The intensity steps up (to a sub maximum effort) until the point lactic acid begins to accumulate, ie the lactic threshold. Not only is this interesting for defining your current capabilities in a more controlled manner than Strava, it’s an essential starting point for future training whether it be power based or heart rate based. There are various other benefits and features of the test but more details can be found on www.wilierppl.com.

Due to each session lasting 1 hour we can only accommodate 7 riders this time so if you are not able to make the date please drop us a line and we can keep you informed of future training/testing sessions.

To book a session please call the shop on 01792 463199 or email us at  sales@pilothousecycles.co.uk

The price per session is usually costs £125 but as an introductory offer we are subsidizing the cost to £85 per person

At the end of each session you will come away with loads of information, as to how you can reach your peak potential faster, train harder in a more controlled manner and learn how to recover quicker. All this will be tailored to you personally from the information gained during the test.

Don't let your body let your bike down!
